It has come to my attention that the sub has been bombarded with floods of dupes from same 3-4 bots for a set of sites that are essentially mirrors of each other.
Actually this person was blocked by myself when he first started his bot posting and he apologized and also turned off many of the ads plaguing the experience. I took him on his word and perceived sincerity.
But now after few months, I see these videos literally tens per day and many of them dupes. Now even there are video interrupting ads, its a jungle there.
I am sorry, and all these actions including streamlining the rules, mandatory flair and the automod rule to remove posts without one, is an effort towards preventing such from happening again.
I am also slowly eradicating their posts, but after all am just human and there are no good tools that I could find to aid me in bulk deletion. So it will be a slow process.
Any suggestions or advice that any in the community might have, can send as mail or dm to me. Pr comment on any of the announcements. If anyone thinks that a dedicated post would be rather easier for such, I'll make one.
